SS CP 52 Code of Practice for Automatic Fire Sprinkler System
13) Emergency power supply for lighting, ventilation and alarm systems for all passenger lifts shall comply with the requirements in SS CP 2 Code of Practice for Installation, Operation and Maintenance of Electric Passenger and Goods Lifts.
1)Workers shall don the safety harness when working on scaffolds
2)Workers shall anchor the safety harness
3)Employers/scaffold supervisor shall provide safety harness, provide safe means of access, ensure all identified openings are covered with steel plate toe board and scaffolds erected with metal barricade and metal guardrails
4)Employers/scaffold supervisor shall report all industrial accidents to MOM within 10 days through I-reporting
5)Contractors shall engage licensed waste contractor for disposal of the empty paint containers
6)First aid kit shall be provided at site for emergency use
7)All fire protection works installation shall comply with SS CP 52 Code of Practice for Automatic Fire Sprinkler System
8)Only qualified Fire Safety Engineer shall be engaged for the building Fire Protection works
1)PTW (accompanied with risk assessment,& methods of statements) shall be apply for Fire Protection works-Installation of fire fighting equipments & shall be approved by the building HSE department before work commencement
2)Scaffold supervisors directing all scaffolding activities must attend the Supervision of Metal Scaffold Erection Course
3)First Aid kit shall be make available at site for emergency use.
4)Workers & scaffold supervisor working on a scaffold structures shall ensure the following:
a)They shall anchored their safety harness at all times
b)They shall ensure all visible openings on the scaffolds are effectively covered using reasonable practicable means
c)They shall ensure all scaffolds are erected with reasonable practicable means of metal barricade and metal guards rails and steel plate metal toe boards
d)They shall ensure sufficient and secured anchorage, by means of a life line or otherwise for the safety harness or safety belt
e)They shall ensure the anchorage shall not be lower than the level of the working position of the person wearing the safety harness or safety belt
5)Workers working in boom lift shall don the safety harness at all times and the safety harness shall be anchored on the boom lift basket
6)Daily safety toolbox meeting shall be conducted prior to work
7)All safety harness shall be physically check for damages by the workers and verified by the scaffold supervisor daily prior to use
8)Operators shall attend the Mobile Elevated Work Platform Training for Boom lift
9)Scaffold Supervisors shall perform integrity scaffold checks daily & ensure it’s integrity daily prior to work commencement
10)Worker carrying out work in erecting of scaffolding/installing of suspended scaffold shall attend the scaffold erector course/suspended scaffold rigger course
11)Project manager in charge of construction activities in building and engineering construction worksites of a contract sum of $10 million or more shall attend the construction safety course for project managers
12)Worker shall conduct pre-start boom lift check and ensure the boom lift mechanical function is working properly before using them
13)Boom lift operator shall identified the boom lift route and ensure it is cleared of obstruction
14)Only operator who had attended the
Elevated Work Platform Training for Boom lift can operate the boom lift
15)No one shall be near or under the suspended basket when boom lift operation is in progress
16) Installation of the sprinkler system and
its associated water supply,control and testing requirements shall comply with the SS CP 52 Code of Practice for Automatic Fire Sprinkler System
17) Emergency power supply for lighting, ventilation and alarm
systems for all passenger lifts shall comply with the requirements in SS CP 2 Code of Practice for Installation,
Operation and Maintenance of Electric Passenger and Goods Lifts.
18)All boom lift shall be parked in a safe location with its basket suspended in mid air after work completion
19)Automatic Fire Sprinkler System shall be installed at inhabitable height of 24meter
